I have some pictures saved in my photos that are BMP (saved from an email)
all my other photos are JPG. I am using XP. Can I change the BMP photos to
JPG and if so how?

Open the BMP files in an image editor. Then save the image as a jpg.

Download the FREE IrfanView application.

Has convertors and many more features. Very handy graphics application.

Don't forget to also d/l the plugins and addons to get full features.

You have downloaded the program.

Have you installed the program?

If so, open it and File>Batch Conversion/Rename.

Browse to the folder with the bitmaps and select the ones to convert.

Note the options on the dialog page.

When all else fails hit the Help button on the main menu.

Search for "batch conversion" (no quotes)
