Photostory for Windows Music Problem

I have done many Photostories without any problem adding music from my
computer. All of a sudden, it keeps saying I am not choosing a "valid music
file". I don't know what to do. These are songs from CD's I have downloaded
on my computer, songs I have purchased from Itunes, etc. Can anyone tell me
how to re-structure my music file so that it is a "valid" file?

Best bet is to import .wma audio files. If your
music is in a different format...you can convert
to .wma before importing with the following freebie:

(FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System
Restore point before installing software or updates)

Format Factory
http://www.pcfreetime.com/
(FWIW...you may want to uncheck
all the boxes on the final screen)

After downloading and installing Format Factory...
open the program and choose an Output Folder...
(this is where you will find your files after they are
converted)

Drag/drop your audio clips onto the main screen...

Select 'All to WMA' / OK...

Click...Start...on the toolbar...

That should do it...

Looks like a god freebie but it will not convert MPEG-4 Audio File
(protected) which is an itunes type of file. Any other suggestion for
those??? Thank you.

I had the same problem with the message about the invalid file. The recommendation to change to wma file with the Format Factory worked for me. Thank goodness, I needed this to finish my slideshow for me wedding!
